Medication Management
Our medication management services are structured to help you feel safer, more informed, and more in control of your treatment. We understand that starting or adjusting psychiatric medication is a significant decision, and we approach it with the same care and precision we would want for ourselves or our families.
We begin with a thoughtful medication evaluation, reviewing your history, current symptoms, prior medication experiences, and other health conditions. From there, we discuss options in clear, straightforward language so you understand why a particular medication is recommended and what benefits and risks to expect.
Through ongoing Medication Monitoring and Adjustment visits, we closely follow how you are responding. Together, we track changes in mood, anxiety, sleep, and daily functioning, and we make careful dose adjustments or medication changes only when clinically appropriate. This steady, attentive process helps reduce side effects, prevent unnecessary polypharmacy, and support genuine improvement.
We review your medications at regular intervals, renew prescriptions in a timely manner, and ensure that refills align with your current needs and any changes in your overall health. When we also provide your psychotherapy, we integrate those insights into medication decisions, so your plan feels cohesive rather than fragmented.
The result is medication management that feels steady and supportive, not stressful. You're never expected to simply "accept" a prescription — you're invited into a collaborative process that honors your preferences, your lived experience, and your long-term wellbeing.
All new patients must first be seen for a Psychiatric Evaluation before beginning Medication Management follow-up visits.
